— How did you know about the BRICS YEA and the BRICS YEA Outlook-2019?

In last week of April this year, Head of Electrical Engineering Department & Head of CII Innovation Club, JISCE jointly called a meeting to brief about BRICS YEA, its role in growth of research in the field of energy.

— In your opinion why should the young people from the BRICS countries cooperate?

Energy, Enthusiasm fresh ideas are main attributes of a researcher.  A team of young energetic people have most innovative and fresh ideas.

— Which goal should have been reached in the coming years to achieve global sustainable development in the whole world?

Most of the energy consuming products must be designed to work with highest efficiency and made to work with renewable energy resources. Also, alternatives of those products should be brought to market which degrades environment.

— How do you evaluate the role of the BRICS YEA in the achieving global sustainable development?

BRICS YEA may become a platform where young, enthusiastic researchers across BRICS nation meet. Thus there is huge scope of idea exchange that may lead to better accomplishment of the project goal.

— Which achievements of the digital era could pose a threat to the global energy development? How can the young generation face these threats?

The digital era has increased the energy requirement to a very large extent. The use of computer, phones etc have made our daily life easier as well as increased the energy demand. We cannot imagine a day without those because those have become an integral part of our life. That leaves us intensifying the challenge of energy crisis.
